Meeting ALH Demands
Built Back Better Golf Simulator
Built Back Better Golf Simulator
Across multiple Bentley Manor ALH facilities in Clio, we helped select and install durable flooring suited to busy, care-focused environments where appearance, long-term performance and minimal disruption all matter. The work included multiple spaces and flooring systems, with each project carefully planned around the needs and schedule of the facilities. Phil Mills said the new floors “truly transformed the space” and praised us for making sure they had “the right flooring that would last.” He also highlighted the professionalism and willingness to work over a holiday weekend to meet an important deadline, adding that Tom is “a master of his craft and takes pride in excellence.”

After the Millers’ finished basement flooded in Clio, AlphaLife replaced the specialty turf in their golf simulator, installed new carpet through the adjacent pathway area, and later completed the stairs and remaining basement. The simulator required a highly detailed custom installation, and the finished result exceeded expectations—according to the Millers, it “looked better than when we first had it installed.” They described the entire project as an “outstanding experience from start to finish,” highlighting the careful workmanship, respect for their home and genuinely personal service.

At the Bentley Manor offices in Clio, AlphaLife installed durable Venue carpet tile and Alpine LVP throughout the offices, bathrooms, conference room, welcome area and other shared spaces. The combination created a more polished, cohesive environment while providing practical flooring suited to the demands of a busy professional facility. Melissa Mills praised the “professionalism, attention to detail and quick turnaround,” adding, “Tom and AlphaLife did an amazing job… We will definitely use him again!”

For the Bloss family’s large DIY flooring project, AlphaLife helped turn a difficult decision into a confident plan. With a busy household, multiple dogs and a heavy power wheelchair traveling throughout the space, the flooring needed to be exceptionally durable. We supplied heavy-duty Flooret Modin Signature, provided hands-on guidance and installation education, and handled precision work such as trim and door-jamb undercutting. As they shared, “Our floors needed to be strong… Tom helped us pick the best flooring for our family. Totally will recommend AlphaLife.”
Flooring to suit Your needs
The right flooring depends on much more than appearance. Traffic, pets, moisture, cleaning requirements, subfloor conditions and long-term maintenance all affect which product will perform best.
AlphaLife provides and installs carefully vetted options for residential and commercial properties, including:
- Luxury vinyl plank and luxury vinyl tile
- Residential carpet
- Commercial carpet and carpet tile
- Glue-down commercial flooring
- VCT and selected specialty flooring
- Trim, transitions and finishing details
Instead of overwhelming you with thousands of nearly identical choices, we help narrow the selection to products that make sense for your space, priorities and expected investment.
Flooring Repairs
A flooring problem does not always mean the entire floor needs to be replaced. AlphaLife handles professional repairs such as carpet restretching, failed seam repair, separated LVP or laminate joints, damaged plank or tile replacement, loose transitions, and soft or squeaking subfloor areas. By identifying what caused the failure first, we can recommend a repair that lasts instead of simply hiding the symptom.
Carpet Restretching and repair
Carpet does not always need to be replaced when it begins to wrinkle, loosen or separate. AlphaLife can often restore it by properly power-stretching the carpet—not simply kicking it tighter—repairing failed seams with the correct seaming tools and adhesives, securing loose edges, and correcting damaged transition areas. The goal is to solve the underlying problem and extend the life of the carpet whenever a professional repair is still practical.
