hese Terms and Conditions apply to the AlphaLife SmarterDIY / DIY Assist Program offered by Worthing Group LLC, doing business as AlphaLife Floors ("AlphaLife"). The customer's accepted proposal, invoice, written scope, product selections, and these Terms form the agreement between AlphaLife and the customer. If a project-specific written proposal conflicts with these general Terms, the project-specific written provision controls.

The program is available only for projects and locations accepted by AlphaLife. One $149 consultation covers one customer, one property, one scheduled visit, and one substantially related flooring project within the areas identified in writing. Additional buildings, separate projects, major scope changes, inaccessible areas, repeat visits, or work requested after the consultation require a separate written quote.

The customer must be at least 18 years old and have authority to authorize access to the property and make decisions concerning the project.

The customer must provide safe, timely, and reasonable access to all areas to be reviewed and must disclose known hazards, water intrusion, prior flooring failures, accessibility concerns, pets, occupied areas, and suspected hazardous materials before the visit. AlphaLife may stop or reschedule a visit if conditions are unsafe or materially different from those disclosed.

Appointments canceled at least 24 hours before the scheduled start may be rescheduled or refunded. Late cancellations, denied access, or no-shows may result in forfeiture of the consultation fee, except where prohibited by law. AlphaLife may charge separately for travel or rescheduling outside its standard service area when disclosed and accepted in advance.

Measurements, takeoffs, waste allowances, layouts, and supply quantities are professional estimates based on visible and reasonably accessible conditions at the time of the visit. Actual requirements may change because of product dimensions, pattern matching, lot availability, layout decisions, concealed conditions, damaged material, installer error, field changes, or manufacturer requirements.

The customer must review the written scope and promptly identify missing rooms, closets, steps, transitions, trim, or other project elements before ordering. AlphaLife is not responsible for shortages or overages caused by customer changes, undisclosed or inaccessible areas, customer cutting or installation errors, failure to follow the plan, or conditions that could not reasonably be observed.

The $149 fee is earned when the consultation is performed. If the customer makes a qualifying purchase within 60 days, AlphaLife will apply a one-time credit of up to $149 to the merchandise subtotal for the flooring and recommended installation supplies intended for the measured project.

The credit is promotional consideration attached to a qualifying purchase and is not a rebate, cash refund, gift card, or stored-value balance. It is nontransferable, may be used once, cannot produce a negative balance, and cannot be redeemed for cash. It does not apply to taxes, delivery, freight, tool purchases or rentals, labor, installation, floor preparation, demolition, disposal, repair services, separately quoted assistance, prior purchases, samples, deposits already forfeited, or another property or project.

AlphaLife may deny or reverse a credit obtained through inaccurate information, duplicate claims, a materially reduced or changed project, payment reversal, cancellation of the qualifying order, or return of merchandise that causes the order to cease qualifying. Any remaining refund will be calculated after deducting the applied credit, restocking charges, nonreturnable items, freight, and other lawful charges.

Material prices, availability, dye lots, production runs, freight, lead times, and delivery dates are subject to confirmation when the order is accepted. Required deposits and balances will appear on the invoice or proposal. Estimated dates are not guarantees.

The customer must inspect products promptly and before cutting or installation and must report visible damage, incorrect products, or quantity concerns immediately. Installed, cut, opened, used, custom, discontinued, clearance, special-order, and manufacturer-designated nonreturnable products are nonreturnable except where applicable law requires otherwise. Approved returns may be subject to freight and restocking charges disclosed by AlphaLife or the supplier.

Risk of loss and delivery responsibilities will be stated in the accepted proposal. The customer is responsible for providing a suitable, dry, secure, and reasonably accessible delivery location and sufficient assistance when unloading is not included.

AlphaLife provides observations, product information, and general educational guidance based on information available at the time. The customer controls the means, methods, sequence, safety, and quality of the DIY installation. AlphaLife does not employ, direct, or supervise the customer or the customer's helpers and does not assume responsibility as the project's installer, construction manager, building inspector, engineer, environmental consultant, or safety supervisor.

An AlphaLife visit, message, photograph review, or answer does not constitute acceptance or approval of completed work. Silence or failure to identify a problem does not mean the installation complies with manufacturer requirements or applicable law.

The visual review is limited to conditions that are exposed, reasonably accessible, and observable without destructive testing. Flooring removal and preparation may reveal moisture, contamination, damaged or uneven substrates, unsuitable underlayment, structural movement, asbestos-containing material, lead, mold, plumbing leaks, or other conditions not detectable during the consultation.

AlphaLife may recommend testing, remediation, repairs, or review by a qualified trade or licensed professional. Those services are outside the program unless expressly included in a separate written agreement. The customer must stop work and obtain appropriate assistance when a suspected hazardous, structural, code-related, or water-related condition is discovered.

The customer must obtain and follow the manufacturer's current written installation, substrate, moisture, acclimation, environmental, maintenance, and warranty requirements for every product used. Product warranties, if any, are provided by the manufacturer and remain subject to the manufacturer's terms, exclusions, documentation, and claim procedures.

AlphaLife does not provide an installation-labor warranty for work performed by the customer or any third party. Any labor or corrective work performed by AlphaLife is covered only if separately contracted in writing and only under the warranty stated in that agreement. Nothing in these Terms eliminates a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived. Any legally permitted limitation or disclaimer must be read together with the written product warranty and applicable law.

Calls, messages, photo reviews, site visits, specialty cuts, trim work, doorway undercutting, transition work, repairs, demolition, disposal, floor preparation, rescue work, and other assistance beyond the written scope are not included. AlphaLife has no obligation to provide immediate or after-hours help. Any additional service requires AlphaLife's availability and a written price or change order accepted by the customer.

Advice concerning a changed product, layout, substrate, room, installer, or condition may require a new evaluation. A customer should not rely on earlier guidance after materially changing the project.

DIY flooring work involves risks including bodily injury, tool injury, property damage, damage to utilities or building components, product damage, installation failure, loss of manufacturer warranty, and the cost of removal or correction. The customer knowingly assumes the risks arising from work performed or controlled by the customer, household members, helpers, or third parties.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AlphaLife is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages, loss of use, lost time, lost income, or the cost of correcting customer- or third-party-performed work. For a claim arising solely from the SmarterDIY educational or planning service, AlphaLife's aggregate liability will not exceed the consultation fee actually paid, except for liability or remedies that cannot legally be limited. This limitation does not reduce any separate rights concerning defective merchandise, a manufacturer warranty, or labor separately contracted and performed by AlphaLife.

The customer is responsible for loss, damage, claims, or expenses caused by the acts or omissions of the customer, household members, helpers, or separately hired contractors. This provision does not require the customer to pay for loss caused by AlphaLife to the extent such responsibility cannot lawfully be shifted.

The customer must provide accurate project information and a working email address or other approved method for receiving the proposal, product documents, manufacturer instructions, and notices. Customer approval by signature, electronic acceptance, or payment may constitute acceptance of the agreement to the extent permitted by law.

Only a written change approved by AlphaLife modifies the scope, pricing, credit, or these Terms. Social-media messages, casual conversations, and general website content do not expand the project-specific written scope.

Some transactions accepted at a customer's home or another location away from AlphaLife's place of business may carry a statutory right to cancel. When applicable, AlphaLife will provide the legally required notice and cancellation forms. Nothing in these Terms waives or shortens any nonwaivable cancellation right under Michigan or federal law. A statutory cancellation controls over any inconsistent appointment, deposit, special-order, or return provision.

The parties will first attempt in good faith to resolve a dispute through written notice describing the issue and requested resolution. These Terms are governed by Michigan law, together with applicable federal law. Any action must be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction and venue.

If part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to the extent legally permitted. Failure to enforce a provision once is not a waiver of future enforcement. These Terms, the accepted proposal or invoice, the written scope, product selections, and written change orders constitute the agreement concerning the SmarterDIY service.

AlphaLife may change or discontinue the program prospectively. The version accepted by the customer when purchasing the consultation governs that transaction. Program changes do not retroactively remove a credit already earned under an accepted agreement.

These Promotion Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of promotional offer(s) advertised on the AlphaLife Floors website, including the “Get 10% Off — Use Code Spring” offer (the “Promotion”). By submitting a request through our website contact form and using a promo code, you agree to these Terms.

Submit a service request through the AlphaLife Floors website contact form and enter promo code Spring in the promo code field to receive 10% off qualifying services, subject to these Terms.

To redeem the Promotion:

1. Submit the website contact form at alphalifefloors.com.
    
2. Enter Spring in the promo code field at the time of submission.
    
3. Schedule and complete qualifying services with AlphaLife Floors.
    
4. The discount will be applied as described in Section 4.
    

Promo code must be submitted with the initial inquiry through the website form. Codes provided after an estimate is issued, after scheduling, or after work begins may not be honored.

The Promotion is valid from 01/01/26 through 12/01/26 (the “Promotion Period”), unless ended earlier as allowed by these Terms. Requests submitted outside the Promotion Period are not eligible.

Unless AlphaLife Floors confirms otherwise in writing, the 10% discount applies to:

• Qualifying labor charges for installation and/or repair services performed by AlphaLife Floors that result directly from the website form submission using the promo code.
   

Important: The discount applies only to the qualifying portion of the invoice and is applied before sales tax and after any required minimum charges.

Unless AlphaLife Floors agrees in writing, the Promotion does not apply to:

• Flooring materials/products (plank, tile, carpet, trim, transitions, adhesives, underlayment, moisture systems, fasteners, etc.)
   
• Delivery/freight/shipping, fuel/travel fees, or trip charges
   
• Removal/demolition, disposal/haul-away, dumpster fees, or clean-out services
   
• Subfloor prep materials and processes (leveling/patch/skim, grinding/shot blasting, extensive prep), moisture testing, or moisture mitigation systems
   
• Stairs, custom carpentry, cabinetry/toe-kick modifications, structural repairs, or work outside standard installation/repair scope
   
• Insurance work, warranty work, remediation (including mold), or third-party coordinated work
   
• Commercial projects, property management accounts, builder/GC accounts, or contract/pricing agreements
   
• Deposits/down payments (discount applies to eligible completed work, not to the deposit itself)
   
• Prior invoices, previously scheduled jobs, previously issued estimates, or already-discounted pricing
   

This Promotion cannot be combined with any other coupon, promotion, referral reward, bundle deal, special contract pricing, price match, negotiated discount, or other offer unless AlphaLife Floors approves in writing.

Only one promo code may be applied per project unless we approve otherwise in writing.

Unless stated otherwise:

• Limit one redemption per household/address during the Promotion Period.
   
• Offer is non-transferable, has no cash value, and may not be exchanged for cash or credit.
   
• The request must be submitted by the homeowner/property owner or an authorized decision-maker.
   

The Promotion is subject to:

• Service area limitations (we may decline work outside our normal service area).
   
• Scheduling availability and capacity (we may pause or limit redemptions if our schedule is full).
   
• Scope and site conditions discovered during evaluation (which may change eligibility or pricing).
   

Entering a promo code does not guarantee eligibility. AlphaLife Floors will confirm eligibility during the estimate/booking process.

Final eligibility is not guaranteed until AlphaLife Floors acknowledges the Promotion in writing (email, estimate, invoice note, or similar). If a project changes materially (scope, timing, or eligibility factors), we may remove or adjust the discount accordingly.

If a qualifying job is canceled or rescheduled:

• Rescheduling beyond the Promotion Period may result in the Promotion being forfeited.
   
• Significant scope changes may require recalculation or removal of the discount.
   

Sales tax (if applicable) will be calculated and applied in accordance with Michigan law and may be based on amounts before discounts where required.

Certain transactions may include legal cancellation rights depending on how and where the agreement is made. Any required cancellation notices will be provided with your written contract documents.

AlphaLife Floors reserves the right to:

• Correct typographical errors, misprints, pricing errors, or technical issues related to the Promotion.
   
• Refuse, cancel, or revoke the Promotion where misuse, fraud, duplication, or manipulation is suspected.
   
• Void the Promotion if prohibited or restricted by law.
   

AlphaLife Floors may modify, suspend, or end the Promotion at any time. If the Promotion is ended early, we will honor properly submitted requests already acknowledged in writing as eligible, subject to scheduling and completion within a reasonable time.

Where required, AlphaLife Floors maintains applicable Michigan licensing.

These terms are intended to be straightforward, but AlphaLife Floors has final discretion to interpret and apply this offer in a fair and reasonable manner consistent with the intent of the promotion.
